These terms govern the use of the Jobrope site and all services we provide. By using this site and our services, you agree to abide by these terms.

1. Definitions

  • “Jobrope,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to the operators of the website (https://www.jobrope.com/).
  • “User,” “you,” or “your” refers to any individual or entity accessing the Service, including Candidates, Employers, and Freelancers.
  • “Candidates” or “Freelancers” refers to users seeking employment, freelance opportunities, or project tasks.
  • “Employers” or “Clients” refers to users or companies seeking to hire staff, list tasks, or engage freelancers.
  • “Content” refers to text, graphics, images, resumes, job postings, task descriptions, and other materials uploaded to the Service.

2. Eligibility And Account Registration

  • Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account or use this Service. Our platform is strictly for professional business use.
  • Account Security: To access core features (such as purchasing job posting credits, listing tasks, or submitting resumes), you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.
  • Responsibility: All users are entirely responsible for safeguarding their login passwords and for any activities or actions taken under their registered account.

3. Job Listings & Employer Responsibility

  • Any job or vacancy posted by an employer on the Jobrope platform is the sole responsibility of that employer. Each employer is responsible for ensuring their job posting contains accurate, legal, and true information.
  • Jobrope does not guarantee or warrant that each job posting is accurate, and we reserve the right to remove any listing that flags our security metrics.

4. Freelancer Services & Task Posting

Clients are responsible for the details of the tasks they post and the selection of the freelancers they hire. Before engaging a professional, clients should thoroughly review the freelancer’s profile and portfolio.

  • Client Responsibility: Clients are solely responsible for the accuracy of their task descriptions and the requirements for the services they seek. By posting a task, the Client guarantees they have the authority to commission the work and the intent to compensate the freelancer upon successful completion as described.
  • Client Due Diligence: Jobrope provides a secure platform for connection but does not individually vet every single freelancer. It is the Client’s responsibility to review a freelancer’s profile, portfolio, and ratings thoroughly before hiring or authorizing any milestone payments. Jobrope is not liable for any dissatisfaction arising from a freelancer’s work quality.

5. Fees And Payments

All fees for premium services, credit packages, job postings, or platform features are clearly stated in USD at the point of purchase.

  • Platform Checkout: All incoming payments on the platform (such as purchasing a $49 USD listing package or credit) are securely handled and processed via PayPal.
  • Freelancer Service Commissions: Jobrope charges a 15% platform commission on the total project value for freelance tasks. This fee is automatically deducted from the project balance upon the successful and satisfactory completion of the project by the client.
  • PayPal Payouts: Freelancer earnings are disbursed exclusively via PayPal. To receive payments, Freelancers must link a valid, active, and verified PayPal account email address to their Jobrope profile.
  • Third-Party Fees & Currency Conversion: Jobrope is not responsible for any transaction fees, cross-border settlement fees, account maintenance fees, or currency conversion charges imposed by PayPal on the recipient’s side. These charges are the sole responsibility of the user.
  • Example: If a Client posts a project for $1,000 USD, Jobrope retains a 15% platform fee ($150 USD). The remaining $850 USD is sent within 3 to 7 days to the Freelancer’s linked PayPal account, subject to any standard processing or local conversion fees PayPal applies to the Freelancer’s home country bank account.

6. No Guarantee Of Employment or Hiring

Jobrope acts as a digital venue for professional connection. We do not:

  • Guarantee that an Employer will fill a position or that a Candidate/Freelancer will secure a job or project.
  • Screen or censor every individual listing manually before it goes live. We are not a party to the actual final employment contract or transaction between Employers and Candidates.
  • Take direct legal responsibility for the quality, safety, safety compliance, or legality of the jobs, tasks, or resumes posted on the platform.

7. Prohibited Activities & Termination

We reserve the right to immediately suspend or permanently terminate any user account that violates our terms. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Posting any content that is defamatory, obscene, offensive, or violates the intellectual property rights of others.
  • Posting inaccurate, false, fraudulent, or misleading information (including fake job postings, phishing schemes, or fraudulent resumes).
  • Uploading malicious code, viruses, or material that may be technically harmful to the website or its infrastructure.
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the personal accounts, transaction data, or information of another user.
  • Using automated systems, bots, or scripts to “scrape” or crawl the website to extract data for commercial purposes without our explicit written consent.
  • Utilizing the Service for any illegal purpose or to solicit others to perform unauthorized or illegal acts.
  • Attempting to bypass, disable, or alter any security or checkout measures implemented on the platform.

8. Changes to Terms

Jobrope reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. When updates occur, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. By continuing to use the Jobrope platform after modifications are posted, you will be deemed to have accepted the updated terms.
